Services
The Heart Institute of the Caribbean is designed to meet the needs of heart patients, through a team approach of coordinated care provided by highly skilled doctors, nurses, and medical technicians. The concept of the Heart Institute of the Caribbean originated with the desire of the founding physicians to develop both their own range of services as well as the ability to provide these services to communities throughout the region. With this vision of expanding cardiac care services; the Heart Institute of the Caribbean was established in 2005.
Today, the Heart Institute of the Caribbean delivers leading-edge services to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands through its branches located in Kingston and Mandeville, Jamaica and affiliated medical centers and clinics in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. These services include consultative cardiology; nuclear cardiology; electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization; vascular and mechanical-assist device surgery.
