Dr. Felix NunuraConsultant Cardiologist - Mandeville
Dr. Felix Nunura is a Professor of Cardiology who was recruited from the Children’s Heart Institute in Reston, Virginia, USA where he served as Pediatric and Adult Echocardiographer and was also responsible for Autonomic Function Services. During his professional work Dr. Nunura has served as an Associate Professor of Medicine both at Federico Villarreal and San Marcos Universities and as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Air Force Central Hospital in Lima-Peru. He has presented academic lectures at numerous meetings nationally and internationally and contributed with articles and reviews for a number of publications. In addition, he has been honored with the National Award of Cardiology by Peruvian Society of Cardiology and the Medical Residency Award by the Peruvian Society of Internal Medicine. Dr. Nunura is a member of the International Society of Hypertension and former Steering Council Member of the Latin-American Council Cardiovascular Care. His clinical interests include Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease, clinical echocardiography and the impact of the Cardiovascular Autonomic Dysfunction. Dr. Nunura has practiced Cardiology in leading centres of excellence and will bring a breadth of expertise in Cardiographics and non-invasive modalities to the Heart Institute of the Caribbean’s Mandeville location.
