Dr. Madu completed
his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Booth Memorial
Medical Center affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New
York. He did his cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Ohio
and completed an additional year of fellowship training dedicated to
Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.

Dainia Baugh,
MD, DABHM
Dr Dainia Baugh
serves as the President of HIC. She is an expert in Wellness, Cardiac Risks and
Chronic Disease Management. Dr. Baugh served as Assistant Professor of Medicine
at Vanderbilt prior to becoming the Medical Director of Nashville Internal
Medicine Associates. She previously also held the position of Medical Director
of the PHV Hospital at Vanderbilt. Dr Baugh was educated at the University of
Tennessee where she obtained an MD degree. She subsequently completed an
Internal Medicine residency at the same institution.
Dr Baugh’s practice
focus is preventive medicine. She oversees HIC’s individually tailored heart
disease prevention and wellness clinic. She is board certified in Internal
Medicine and Holistic Medicine. Dr Baugh holds the distinction of being the only
physician in the Jamaica with US board certification in Holistic Medicine. Dr
Baugh is well known for best practices in wellness management and risk
prevention. She has published extensively in the medical literature and is
internationally respected.

Edwin Tulloch-Reid,
MBBS, FACC
Dr. Tulloch-Reid is an
Interventional Cardiologist and Director of Clinical Services at HIC. Dr.
Tulloch-Reid has been a practicing physician and Cardiologist in Jamaica since
1997 when he was appointed Consultant Physician at the Kingston Public Hospital.
A medical graduate of the University of the West Indies, he went on to complete
a residency in Internal Medicine at York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital
Center and subsequently a cardiology fellowship at the Montreal Heart Institute/University
of Montreal and an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of
Pittsburgh.
He is US board certified in
Internal Medicine and Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of
Cardiology. He is also an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at
the University of the West Indies. Dr. Tulloch-Reid is versatile in all invasive
and interventional diagnostic and treatment modalities commonly utilized for
routine cardiac care in the United States. In addition to the English language,
Dr Tulloch-Reid is fluent in German, French and Spanish.

Jennifer Goodall
Jennifer Goodall serves as Vice President of Finance and Director of Operations. Among her duties include heading up the divisions of human resources, accounts and operations.
Prior to joining HIC, Ms Goodall served as Chief Internal Auditor of Jamaica Producers Group LTD and Jamaica Public Service Company. She also served in senior management as Accounting Manager for Jamaica Producers Group LTD. During this time she demonstrated her prowess as a meticulous fact finder in detecting major fraud cases in the private sector. Her involvement in company operations and procedures resulted in several cost effective methods and improvement in overall efficiency. In addition to her many accomplishments, she was also responsible for the successful computerization of the manual accounting system and implementation of customized general ledgers for her former employer. This compliments her background in external auditing with Price Waterhouse Cooper.
Jennifer Goodall attended University of Technology and Emile Woolf College of Accountancy. In addition she has taken several courses in Accounting and is well versed in international accounting standards.
Her extensive background in accounting and management is mirrored by her exemplary national and community leadership. She served as the President and Treasurer of Jamaica Automobile Association and Lions Club of Kingston. Furthermore her leadership as a member of the Board of Directors of the Heart Foundation of Jamaica and the Parish Advisory Committee of the Victim Support Unit have given her a clear vision on the needs of the community. Such experiences and her background will be valuable assets in aiding HIC to provide high quality, Innovative and cost effective cardiac care to the Caribbean.

Dr Waine Kong,Ph.D.,J.D
Waine Kong serves as Executive Vice President of Heart
Institute of the Caribbean. Among his duties he will also serve
as the President of HIC Foundation where he will facilitate all
“Open Access Programmers for Indigent Care”.
Prior to joining the Heart Institute of the Caribbean, Dr Kong served as the CEO of the Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC) based in Atlanta, USA, a position he occupied for 21 years. Dr. B. Waine Kong is internationally recognized as a Leader in the fight to reduce the ravages of heart disease, diabetes and stroke.
Dr. B. Waine Kong brings a vast experience and expertise to the Heart Institute of the Caribbean (HIC).
In his role at HIC, he will be responsible for all aspects of institutional operation and new business development. His mantra…”Children should know their Grandparents,” embodies the focus of HIC in restoring the flow to the Heart Beat of the Caribbean.
Dr. Kong received his B.A. from Simpson College (1967), an M.A. from American University (1970), his AGS in educational psychology (1974) from the University of Maryland, and his Ph.D. from Walden University (1977). Dr Kong also received a JD from Dickinson School of Law is a member of the Georgia Bar. Dr Kong is married to Dr. Stephanie Kong, a pediatrician and managed care executive. They have four children and three grandchildren. Dr. Kong's hobbies include golf, tennis and duplicate bridge.
